Cambridge taxi fares to rise as council backs 2.3% hike
The cost of getting a taxi in Cambridge will go up in September – and it could soar further if fuel prices continue to rise.

Licensing chiefs approved an increase in the basic hackney carriage fare, and also created a new 40p surcharge which will be brought in if fuel hits £1.47 a litre.
